Our amazing tour guide, companion, caretaker and friend in Lahansai.

More From Muang Tum Wat

Muang Tum

A smaller Hindu Wat below Phanom Rung

Our Friend's Crocodile Farm

Ok... more than just crocodiles... and no, the others are not food. The crocs are fed the icky bits of chickens.

Monkies and Kitties

We found a couple of small critters too. A SIAMese cat and a baby monkey.

Some Thai Skylines

What the Heck IS That?

It a darn weird looking spider is what that is.

Ahhhhhhhaaaa

Tigers and Elephants

We found some big critters too!
We rode the elephant during a torrential downpour. Our elephant handler did an amazing job taking pictures for us and some how managing not to soak the camera. He let both of us take turns riding on the elephant's neck. It's trickier than one might think to stay balanced on the neck of an elephant. We put our legs against the back of his ears and our feet on the top of his shoulders.

Wilbur got Wet

Wilbur also found some big critters.

What's on the Road?

As you can see... we have the road pretty much to ourselves.

Rice is dried on the road.
Everyone passes at the same time.
Some stuff gets out of your way, and some stuff you drive around or hope it drives around you.
