On the way to Thailand..
The first leg of the trip was an 11 hxour flight from Vancouver to Tokyo. This would seem like a very long time but the airplane has LCD monitors on the backs of all headrests. You can watch the latest movies and even play video games. I used up my video game playing time playing poker before I realized that a language game was available. I could have beena perfectly fluent Thai speaker if I had spent 11 hours playing this game. Instead, I learned how to count up to 1,000,000 and that Sunday is called wan-a-tit.

I'll finish this off with a joke...
Before boarding the plane to Bangkok from Tokyo, the very cute Japanese flight attendant said to me "have a nice fright".
